Writing a blog or creating a website for your business? The major reason for doing this is to reach your targeted audience and turn them into potential customers. We are going to brief you about the SEO On-Page and Off-Page Implementation at  YelloStack – the popular Digital Marketing Company in Saudi Arabia.

Customers reach your business only if your website is listed at the top of the Search engine. In recent days there is a saying that “if you wish to keep things secret, you can hide it on the second page of Google”. It’s true that people have time to browse only through the first page of the search engine. Often they neglect to browse through the results in the later pages.

The best is the one which is listed on the first page of Google. Yes, the same old theory First IN First OUT is being used.

“The first seen is first used”.

Organic SEO On-Page and Off-Page Strategy we follow:

So, what should someone do to get listed at the top of Google Organically? Optimizing your webpages, according to the Search Engine Algorithms. (Search engine algorithm is nothing but a unique formula which search engines use to signify a webpage) and performing a periodic SEO Audit.

What is SEO On-Page and Off-Page?

Most of us know what is Search Engine Optimization, is the process of increasing the number of audiences and the page rank on the SERP (Search Engine Result Page) organically (without paying). SEO targets different searches based on image search, video search, industry search, etc.,

SEO On-Page and Off-Page – There are two types of search engine optimizations one is On-page Optimization – this is the practice of optimizing each web page of the website. The other one is Off-page Optimization – this is improving the position of the website. It is increasing the domain authority of the website by linking your website from other similar websites.

How to perform an On-Page Optimization:

On-page Optimization includes a certain combo of factors. This includes optimizing each web page with relevant keywords. It is also necessary that the content must be relevant to the audience query. Here is a list of certain factors:

Keywords Meta Tags:

Optimizing Keywords and Meta Tags are the main factors for on-page optimization. Keywords are nothing but the audience’s query. One should add proper Keywords to the Title and Content (Meta description) of the web page.  The title must be unique and can have up to 15 to 65 characters.

Keyword Meta Tags & Meta Description
Meta Description:

Meta Description is the snippet (refer to the image below)which has a brief about the business or website. The character limits are around 120 to 160 characters.

This should have the correct description of the website and should have a call to action. The description should also have a Landing page. A well-optimized landing page will improve the Lead generation for sure.

The landing page should be constant with no further navigations except for the submit or subscribe etc.,

It should have only necessary and useful content for the customer. Finally, the landing page should have a proper call to action.

Keywords Stuffing in Content:

The keywords should not be overstuffed in the content. The keyword density should be only around 1% to 3% of the total number of words used. For example, if your content has 300 words, the particular keyword can be used from 3 to 9 times. Keywords should also be added to the images used on the web page. A good SEO is incomplete without adding Alt-text for the images used in the webpages.

URL STRUCTURE:

URL Structure optimization is also a main part of SEO. There are certain elements which are to be noted while creating a URL.

URL STRUCTURE - yellostack
  •                   The URL  must be simple and in a  readable format.
  •                  One should use hyphens between the words in the URL.
  •                  There shouldn’t be any capital letters used in the Link.
  •                  It is very necessary to use the keywords in the content.

This is not more appealing and it looks so clumsy, whereas the link below appears neat and understandable.

Should use the Canonical URL.  Canonicalization is the best and quick fix for duplicate content. But, what is Canonicalization? Suppose you write a post for some other website and you wish to add the same to your website, In this case, you can post it with a canonical to the original version. It is must you have to use 301 redirects and 302 redirects effectively.

Internal Links and External Links:

Link building - interlink and external link - yellostack

Internal and External links should be used on the website. Should use the Robot.txt file for the web page. Robot.txt is a text file. This file has the details of a web page, which has to be crawled and not crawled by the Search engine (like Google).

Using Header Tags:

There are around six Header tags available, they are H1 to H6. We have to use the H1 tag only once in the content. Other Header tags can be used multiple times. The phrase used in the H1 tag should be the keywords.

 Webpage Loading Time:

On-page optimization also includes the page loading time. One should avoid using high-resolution images and lengthy videos on the landing pages, as it takes much time to load the page. As in the image represented above, increase in page loading time turns away the website visitors.

 Responsive Web Page:

The web page created should be more responsive to all the platforms. That is, the webpage should be compatible with Desktop computers, Laptops, Mobile phones and Tablets etc.,

Off-Page Optimization:

Off-Page Optimization involves adding Backlinks to the Web site. Backlinks, in-other words inbound links are the incoming links to the webpage. Backlinks are a great metric to improve the page rank. A web page with more backlinks tends to rank higher in the Search engine.

Backlinking Strategy:

Backlinking can be done by Submitting the web links in the Directory Submission websites. There are certain Directory submission websites, which allows you to add your website links and details. This can be done either free or as a premium service.

Blogging is also one of the best ways to create backlinks. We can use Social Media Sites to increase Backlinks. Article submission websites can also be used to create backlinks for your website. Other ways to perform backlinking is by Image Sharing, Video Sharing, and Document Sharing.

SEO – XML Sitemap Update:

Whenever you add new content or delete content in your website, the XML sitemap needs to be checked and updated in the Google Console. Sitemap bundles and inter-connect all the freshly added content to the existing main domain. A sitemap is similar to an Index page of a book which guides the reader to visit a particular service he wants to explore.
